Strigo’s SSO feature simplifies the way learners access your training environment. It allows learners to join using their existing account in your product, saving the need to create a dedicated Strigo account and reducing the number of clicks in the process.
How does it work?
Learner login via SSO currently supports the SAML standard and is enabled by integrating Strigo and your desired IDP. When learners access your training, they can use that IDP as an authentication method to join the training.
Once integrated, there are two available configurations from which you can choose:
Learner-initiated flow
Automatic flow
Learner-initiated-flow
In this flow, the learner navigates to the training link and can choose to join the training using your IDP, among other authentication methods.
The learner clicks on a Strigo training link you shared via email or in your LMS.
The learner clicks Login With an Existing Account (your configured IDP).
The learner logs in using your IDP via a popup. *
The learner is identified by Strigo and is ready to access the training environment.
* This step is skipped in case the learner is already logged-in to your service.
Automatic flow
In this flow, the learner navigates to the training link and is automatically transferred to your IDP.
The learner clicks on a Strigo training link you shared via email or in your LMS.
The learner is automatically redirected to your IDP.
The learner logs in to your IDP and is automatically taken back to Strigo and is ready to access the training environment. *
* This step is skipped in case the learner is already logged-in to your service, making the entire login process completely automatic.
