Strigo's Chrome Extension allows you to do two things:

  1. Preview courses.

  2. Build challenges for courses by capturing user actions using UI elements.

Installation

The Chrome extension can be found and installed here.

How it works

  1. The Chrome extension connects to your Strigo account.

  2. It injects Strigo to any web endpoint that you allowed access to.

Connect to a Strigo account

The Chrome Extension connects to the account with which you log into Strigo:

If you are not yet connected to Strigo, follow the "Go to my Strigo account" link and log in.

Define allowed domains

Strigo allows you to control which web domains you want to embed Strigo in.

The Chrome Extension will then automatically inject Strigo only to these defined domains in order to preview the courses.

To define the allowed domains:

  1. Go to the Account Settings page.

  2. Scroll down to the Academy Allowed Domains section:

  3. Add your web app's domain.

    1. Notice that only the domain is required, and not the full path (for example, if your web app's URL is "https://app.mycompany.com/home/" - then only "app.mycompany.com" is needed).

    2. However, you don't have to worry about it, since Strigo will automatically extract the domain when you copy-paste the entire URL.

  4. Click the Add button.

Preview courses

When you browse to a URL that's included in the Allowed Domains, the Chrome Extension will automatically open Strigo and will show the published courses.

This way, you can preview Strigo and the courses you build.
