This guide requires a Strigo Instructor account. Don't have an account yet? Let's talk!
In this tutorial, we will quickly set up a training event with a lab of our choosing.
We'll first set up a Strigo instructor's profile, then set up a class template, schedule a training event, and start teaching.
Set Up Your Profile
This profile will determine how you appear in live training sessions, your profile image and name will be used inside the classroom, while your bio (optional) will be displayed on the training event’s welcome screen.
You can access your profile settings by hovering over the profile icon on the top right and clicking "Profile Settings" from the dropdown menu.
Create your team (Optional)
Teams allow you to add additional instructors to your organization. Those instructors can host training events on their own, or join other's events as Training Assistants, aiding students as they progress in the course.
You can either create a team (under the menu in the top right) now, which will allow you to assign hosts and training assistants, or continue to create your first class. Let's do just that.

Create a new class template
A class is a template for a training event. It determines the training materials and the lab that will be available in the live classroom environment during the training. Each class template you create can be used to generate as many training events as needed, without having to repeatedly upload content.
To create a new class template, head over to the Classes tab and hit “Create New”, there you will be able to name your class, upload your materials and configure the relevant lab.
Give your class a name, upload your presentation (currently only PDFs are supported), and select one of the pre-configured labs at the bottom.

Once you're done setting up your class, click "Save"
Now we have our class template saved, we can move on to schedule a training event - We’re getting somewhere!
Schedule a training event
The quickest way to schedule an event is to click the “Schedule event” button from the top of the class template page you've just created. You can also do it by going over to the Events tab and hitting “Create new”
A training event is a single training session. Having configured the class template once, you can now set up as many sessions as needed, based on your instructor's availability and your student registration rate. Setting up a training event takes less than a minute, so you can start training in no time.
You can enroll students, choose start and end dates and times, and add training assistants. You can also choose whether the event will be public (meaning that anyone with the link and a token can attend) or private (only white-listed people can attend), and whether chat and live video will be available for you and your students. For the sake of simplicity, choose a public event for now.

Accessing and starting the live event
Once you're done configuring your event's details, click "Schedule Event" and then click "Event Link". You can share the link with anyone whom you'd like to attend. You will also use that link yourself to start the event when you're ready:
Congratulations! You're now ready to go live. Click "Start Event" when you're ready to begin.
I'm inside the live classroom environment, now what?
Strigo's classroom environment was built for one-to-many lecture and hands-on practice. To get a true sense of what the classroom environment feels like, we highly recommend sharing this link with others or accessing it in a different browser session, this will allow you to view the classroom from both the instructor and student point of view.
Once the event has started, the first thing you would probably want to do is invite people to attend it. If you haven't already sent the link when creating the event, click on the cog-wheel icon at the bottom-left part of the screen and copy the Event URL - then send it to whomever you like. Having created a public event, you will also have to provide them with the Token (the key below the Event URL).
See who's in the classroom by clicking the people icon at the bottom left corner of your screen
You can connect to students' labs to assist them or simply view a list of students.
Additionally, you can reboot or replace their labs by selecting one or more students and then clicking "Select Action", choosing the desired action, and clicking "Go!".
Managing your training event
As an event host, you can manage event-related configuration (like enable or disable hand-raising) as well as assist students, and, of course, go through the presentation.
You can broadcast video, write on a whiteboard, share your screen, add code snippets, connect to a student's lab (or your own) and much more.
Unless users explicitly choose not to so do, when you move through slides or move between the different parts of the class (Lab, Whiteboard, etc..), users will automatically follow you, seeing what you're seeing.
Terminating the Event
So, you've taught everything you know and now you want to terminate the event.
Go to the "Settings" tab (on the bottom left), where you can choose to either extend the event if you feel your students need more time to work or end it.
Ending the event will shut down all labs and notify the students that the event ended.
That's it! You've done it. You've made at least one more person smarter.
